I found this pretty nice framed “ROLEX US OPEN 1987” squash tournament poster on the street but it had a few problems.
The glass was shattered and there was a missing surround to offset the poster from the front piece of glass.
I bought a piece of glass from home depot and a cheap cutting kit and replaced the glass myself.
I also bought some very small pieces of wood and made the small wooden offset frame. The wood is glued together with half laps.
If I were to do this today, I would have just brought the frame to a glazier (not a framer). I discovered they will cut glass at a very reasonable rate.
I was happy to discover how cheap and easy cutting glass at home is, however.
