I wanted a headboard for my dorm bed, because my pillow kept getting pushed out the back.
I made one out of an unbelievably large scrap piece of 3/4” plywood the engineering woodshop had and gave me for free.
It simply hooks over the dorm bed, there is some compressible foam inside the mounting hook to take up any slack.
